but seriously, i don&#039;t know why people get it in their heads that stuff is &#039;free&#039;. there is no &#039;free&#039;. even if money grew on trees, that tree would still belong to someone. that&#039;s the hardest part of my job, i think, is that the homeless think that food and government subsidies magically appear out of thin air. it doesnt, between my husband and i, we pay over 1/5 of our income in taxes. (which is quite a lot when our combined annual household income is around 40 grand for 2 people. ) not to mention the trillions of dollars that the us is currently in the hole.</description>
